USAID/Morocco is seeking the services of a Secretary for its Office of Economic Growth. The basic function of the position is to provide organizational, administrative, programmatic, and management support to the Economic Growth (EG) Team Leader and the Office staff in carrying out programs in pursuit of achieving EG Strategic Objective goals.
The incumbent will be responsible for establishing priorities within the Office for the timely completion of all administrative functions, including correspondence control and filing, contact lists, scheduling meetings and logistics, timekeeping, travel and transport, tax exemption and clearance requests, and office supplies and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. A minimum of three years of secretarial experience is required.
3. Level IV (fluent) in English, French and Arabic languages required. Excellent reading and writing skills required.
4. Computer skills are required. Good organizational skills to prioritize and follow through on work assignments with minimal supervision are required. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member in a culturally diverse team environment are required. Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail are required. Must be able to provide training, advice and support to U.S. and Moroccan staff on administrative/operational procedural changes and their impact for office operations. Must have the capacity to learn and understand USG operations procedures and policies.
5. Must have a thorough knowledge of administrative management practices and procedures. Must have good working knowledge of host government administrative procedures. Knowledge of office courtesy and protocols is required. Must be thoroughly versed in both French and English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
